DESTINED to spend the rest of its existence in the bottom of a drawer, a GameCube controller with a loose analogue stick has been reported as too good to throw away, but not good enough to ever use again.
“I can’t really use it to play Melee” advised William Bradford, owner of the now 17-year-old Indigo-Purple controller.
“Maybe I can use it for another game where my inputs don’t need to be as precise, like Mario Party or something.” said William, who consistently places second-last at his local tournaments.

“I guess it would be good to have around for parts, in case something goes wrong with my new Smash controller.” he told reporters with uncertainty.
At press time, William had discarded the controller into his designated junk-drawer, alongside a pair of Wii remotes with missing battery covers.
